भारतीय रेलवे अपने बुनियादी ढांचे को नियमित रूप से उन्नत करके सुरक्षित और सुचारू ट्रेन संचालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। इस प्रतिबद्धता के अनुरूप, पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल ने सिउड़ी और कुनुरी स्टेशनों के बीच डाउन लाइन पर पुल संख्या 114ए के गर्डरों के प्रतिस्थापन को सफलतापूर्वक पूरा कर लिया है।
पुल संख्या 114ए, जिसका निर्माण मूल रूप से वर्ष 1946 में हुआ था, किमी 55/24-22 पर स्थित है। इसमें 9.15 मीटर के 2 गर्डर और 15.85 मीटर का 1 गर्डर शामिल है। गर्डरों के प्रतिस्थापन का कार्य 13 अप्रैल 2025 को 06:55 बजे से 14:15 बजे तक निर्धारित यातायात और बिजली ब्लॉक के दौरान सावधानीपूर्वक निष्पादित किया गया।
संपूर्ण अभियान आसनसोल मंडल के इंजीनियरिंग विंग द्वारा अन्य विभागों के सहयोग से किया गया। इस क्रम में सुरक्षा और दक्षता के उच्चतम मानकों को सुनिश्चित किया गया। यह महत्वपूर्ण बुनियादी ढांचा कार्य बिना किसी अप्रिय घटना के सफलतापूर्वक पूरा हो गया, जो टीम की तकनीकी क्षमता और समन्वित प्रयासों को दर्शाता है।
इस कार्य के समय पर पूरा होने से पुल की संरचनात्मक मजबूती और दीर्घायु में वृद्धि होगी, जिससे इस महत्वपूर्ण खंड पर ट्रेन की आवाजाही की समग्र सुरक्षा और विश्वसनीयता में सुधार होगा।

*REPLACEMENT OF GIRDERS OF BRIDGE NO. 114A COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY BETWEEN SIURI AND KUNURI STATIONS*
Asansol, April 13, 2025:
The Indian Railways is committed to ensuring safe and smooth train operations by regularly upgrading its infrastructure. In line with this commitment, Asansol Division of Eastern Railway has successfully completed the replacement of girders of Bridge No. 114A on the Down Line between Siuri and Kunuri stations.
Bridge No. 114A, originally constructed in the year 1946, is located at Km 55/24-22. It consists 2 spans of girders of 9.15 metres and 1 span of girder of 15.85 metres. The replacement work of the girders was executed meticulously on 13th April 2025 during a scheduled traffic and power block from 06:55 hrs. to 14:15 hrs.
The entire operation was carried out by the engineering wing of Asansol Division with the support of other departments, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This critical infrastructure work was completed successfully without any untoward incident, reflecting the technical capability and coordinated efforts of the team.
The timely completion of this work will enhance the structural strength and longevity of the bridge, thereby improving overall safety and reliability of train movement on this vital section.
