As part of the ongoing Special National Swachhata Pakhwada Abhiyan (SNSPA), a Tuberculosis Detection Camp was organised today at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Asansol. The camp was held to promote awareness about tuberculosis prevention, early detection and treatment among railway staff and their families.
More than 40 persons attended the camp and availed the screening facilities. Medical teams conducted health check-ups, provided consultation and advised participants on the importance of timely diagnosis and treatment.
Senior medical officials supervised the camp and interacted with the participants. They stressed the importance of regular health check-ups as a preventive measure.
The initiative reflects Asansol Division’s efforts towards promoting staff welfare and preventive healthcare. Such health camps play an important role in early detection of diseases and spreading awareness on maintaining good health and hygiene.
