*चित्तरंजन स्टेशन पर ‘ऑपरेशन सतर्क’ के तहत रेलवे सुरक्षा बल ने अवैध शराब जब्त की*

अवैध गतिविधियों के खिलाफ अपनी लगातार सतर्कता दिखाते हुए पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल की रेलवे सुरक्षा बल ने चल रहे “ऑपरेशन सतर्क” के तहत 04 फरवरी, 2026 की सुबह चित्तरंजन रेलवे स्टेशन पर अवैध शराब की एक खेप का पता लगाकर उसे जब्त किया।
स्टेशन परिसर में रूटीन निगरानी और गश्त के दौरान, रेलवे सुरक्षा बल के जवानों ने प्लेटफॉर्म क्षेत्र में एक व्यक्ति की संदिग्ध गतिविधि देखी। पूछताछ और उस व्यक्ति के सामान की तलाशी लेने पर विदेशी शराब की एक खेप बरामद की गई। उस व्यक्ति को मौके पर ही हिरासत में ले लिया गया और बरामद सामान को गवाहों की मौजूदगी में स्थापित कानूनी प्रक्रियाओं का पालन करते हुए विधिवत जब्त कर लिया गया।
इसके बाद, हिरासत में लिए गए व्यक्ति को जब्त शराब और संबंधित दस्तावेजों के साथ मौजूदा कानूनों के अनुसार आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए आबकारी विभाग को सौंप दिया गया।
ऑपरेशन सतर्क भारतीय रेलवे की एक केंद्रित और लगातार चलने वाली पहल है, जिसका उद्देश्य रेलवे नेटवर्क के माध्यम से अवैध शराब, नकली भारतीय मुद्रा नोट, अवैध तंबाकू उत्पाद, बिना दस्तावेज के सोना, नकदी, कीमती सामान और अन्य प्रतिबंधित सामग्रियों के परिवहन पर रोक लगाना है। यह ऑपरेशन विशेष रूप से टैक्स चोरी, तस्करी, संगठित अपराध और ऐसे कृत्यों को रोकने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया, है जो राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के लिए खतरा पैदा कर सकते हैं।
यह सफल कार्रवाई एक बार फिर रेलवे सुरक्षा बल की सतर्कता, पेशेवर और सक्रिय दृष्टिकोण को उजागर करती है, जो रेलवे नेटवर्क को अवैध गतिविधियों के लिए दुरुपयोग से बचाने के प्रति दृढ़ संकल्पित है।

*RPF NABS ILLICIT LIQUOR UNDER ‘OPERATION SATARK’ AT CHITTARANJAN STATION*
Asansol, 04 February 2026:
In a significant action underscoring its sustained vigilance against unlawful activities, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Asansol Division, Eastern Railway, successfully detected and seized a consignment of illicit liquor at Chittaranjan Railway Station under the ongoing “Operation Satark” during the early hours of 04 February 2026.
During routine surveillance and patrolling at the station premises, RPF personnel noticed suspicious movement of an individual on the platform area. On enquiry and subsequent checking of the luggage carried by the person, a quantity of foreign liquor was recovered. The individual was detained on the spot, and the recovered articles were duly seized following established legal procedures, in the presence of witnesses.
Subsequently, the detained individual along with the seized liquor and relevant documents was handed over to the Excise Department for further legal action, in accordance with prevailing laws.
Operation Satark is a focused and sustained initiative of Indian Railways aimed at curbing the transportation of illicit liquor, fake Indian currency notes (FICN), illegal tobacco products, unaccounted gold, cash, precious items, and other prohibited materials through the railway network. The operation is specifically designed to prevent tax evasion, smuggling, organised crime, and acts that may pose a threat to national security.
This successful action once again highlights the alertness, professionalism, and proactive approach of the RPF, which remains steadfast in safeguarding the railway network from misuse for unlawful activities.
