Huge free health and eye check-up camp in Kharagpur today in memory of late Rajdevi Mishra
Own Correspondent, Kharagpur: A shining example of social service and service to the arts was set in Kharagpur today. On the occasion of the 10th death anniversary of the late Rajdevi Mishra, a special free health and eye check-up camp has been organized at Bapu Park (Para No. 36) in Kharida area of Kharagpur today, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 10 am.
Cooperation and organization
This great initiative is being held in direct collaboration with Rotary Eye Hospital, Medinipur. The plan of this camp is to provide better health services to the common people of the area. The crowd of common people was visible at Bapu Park under Ward No. 17 since this morning.Details of the service: Free health check-ups by specialist doctors as well as special eye examinations have been arranged for patients coming to the camp.
The organizers have announced:

Remembrance and Purpose This is an effort to keep the memory of Rajdevi Mishra, who passed away 10 years ago, untarnished. A member of the organizing committee said, “We want to pay tribute to her by standing by the people. This camp is very important, especially for those who cannot get regular health check-ups due to financial reasons.”
