*आसनसोल मंडल ने डॉ. बी.आर. अंबेडकर की 135वीं जयंती मनाई*
आसनसोल, 15 अप्रैल, 2026:
पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल ने आसनसोल स्थित मंडल रेल प्रबंधक कार्यालय में डॉ. भीमराव रामजी अंबेडकर की 135वीं जयंती पूरी गरिमा और श्रद्धा के साथ मनाई। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन भारत के संविधान के मुख्य निर्माता को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने और उनके न्याय, समानता तथा बंधुत्व के आदर्शों को याद करने के लिए किया गया।
इस अवसर पर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक/आसनसोल, श्री संग्रह मौर्य, अपर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक/आसनसोल, श्री प्रवीण कुमार प्रेम, शाखा अधिकारीगण, कर्मचारीगण, मान्यता प्राप्त यूनियनों के प्रतिनिधि और एससी/एसटी एसोसिएशन के सदस्यों ने भाग लिया तथा डॉ. बी.आर. अंबेडकर के चित्र पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की। यह जयंती पूरी गरिमा और सम्मान के साथ मनाया गया।
सभा को संबोधित करते हुए श्री संग्रह मौर्य ने डॉ. बी.आर. अंबेडकर के जीवन, उपलब्धियों और संवैधानिक शासन, सामाजिक न्याय तथा समावेशी विकास की दिशा में उनके महत्वपूर्ण योगदानों पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा कि डॉ. अंबेडकर का समानता, शिक्षा और सशक्तिकरण का दृष्टिकोण पीढ़ियों को प्रेरित करता आ रहा है और वर्तमान युग में भी अत्यंत प्रासंगिक बना हुआ है।
कार्यक्रम के एक हिस्सा के रूप में, “डॉ. बी.आर. अंबेडकर: भारत में सामाजिक न्याय के निर्माता” विषय पर एक मंडल-स्तरीय द्विभाषी निबंध प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। यह प्रतियोगिता हिंदी और अंग्रेजी दोनों भाषाओं में आयोजित की गई, जिसमें प्रतिभागियों ने पूरे उत्साह के साथ भाग लिया। इस आयोजन ने प्रतिभागियों के बीच डॉ. बी.आर. अंबेडकर के जीवन, कार्यों और आदर्शों के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए एक प्रभावी मंच प्रदान किया। प्रतियोगिता के शीर्ष तीन विजेताओं को मंडल रेल प्रबंधक, आसनसोल द्वारा मेरिट प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किए गए। प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं में ईस्टर्न रेलवे हायर स्कूल, आसनसोल के हर्ष गांगुली (जिन्होंने प्रथम पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया); ईस्टर्न रेलवे हायर सेकेंडरी स्कूल, आसनसोल के आयुष कुमार सिंह (जिन्होंने द्वितीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया); और ईस्टर्न रेलवे हाई स्कूल, अंडाल की ऋषिता कुमारी (जिन्होंने तृतीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया) शामिल थे।
यह कार्यक्रम आसनसोल मंडल के राष्ट्रीय मूल्यों, सामाजिक सद्भाव और रेलवे कर्मचारियों, छात्रों तथा व्यापक समुदाय के बीच जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में किए जा रहे निरंतर प्रयासों को दर्शाता है।

*ASANSOL DIVISION OBSERVES 135TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR*
Asansol, 15 April 2026:
Asansol Division of Eastern Railway observed the 135th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar with due dignity and reverence at the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, Asansol. The programme was organised to pay tribute to the principal architect of the Constitution of India and to recall his ideals of justice, equality and fraternity.
Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol, Shri Sangrah Maurya, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol, Shri Pravin Kumar Prem, branch officers, staff members, employees, representatives of recognised unions and members of SC/ST Association participated in the observance and offered floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The occasion was marked with solemnity and respect.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Sangrah Maurya highlighted the life, achievements and significant contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar towards constitutional governance, social justice and inclusive development. He stated that Dr. Ambedkar’s vision of equality, education and empowerment continues to inspire generations and remains highly relevant in the present era.
As part of the programme, a Divisional-Level Bilingual Essay Competition was organised on the theme “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar: The Architect of Social Justice in India”. The competition was conducted in Hindi and English and received enthusiastic participation. The event provided an effective platform for spreading awareness about the life, works and ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar among participants. Merit certificates were presented to the top three winners by the Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol. The winners of the competition were Harsh Ganguly of Eastern Railway Higher School, Asansol, who secured the First Prize; Ayush Kumar Singh of Eastern Railway Higher Secondary School, Asansol, who secured the Second Prize; and Rishita Kumari of Eastern Railway High School, Andal, who secured the Third Prize.
The programme reflected Asansol Division’s continued efforts towards promoting national values, social harmony and awareness among railway employees, students and the wider community.
