पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल ने मौजूदा वित्तीय वर्ष में उर्वरक लोडिंग में अच्छी बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की है, जिससे किसानों के लिए उर्वरकों की समय पर उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने और पूरे क्षेत्र में कृषि गतिविधियों को समर्थन देने में इसकी भूमिका मजबूत हुई है।
अप्रैल से जनवरी 2025-26 की अवधि के दौरान आसनसोल मंडल में उर्वरक लोडिंग 1.12 मिलियन टन तक पहुँच गई, जबकि अप्रैल से जनवरी 2024-25 की इसी अवधि में यह 1.10 मिलियन टन थी, जो 1.8 प्रतिशत से ज़्यादा की बढ़ोतरी है। यह बढ़ोतरी रेल-आधारित लॉजिस्टिक्स के माध्यम से ज़रूरी कृषि सामानों की ढुलाई में लगातार सुधार को दर्शाती है।
रेल विशेषकर खेती के व्यस्त सीजन के दौरान द्वारा उर्वरकों का परिवहन निर्बाध कृषि सप्लाई चेन बनाए रखने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है। बेहतर लोडिंग कार्य-निष्पादन उर्वरकों के सुरक्षित, विश्वसनीय और किफायती परिवहन के लिए किए जा रहे ठोस प्रयासों को दर्शाता है, जिससे किसानों और कृषि बाजारों को उनकी समय पर उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित होती है।
उर्वरक ढुलाई में यह बढ़ोतरी माल ढुलाई संचालन की बेहतर योजना, लोडिंग एजेंसियों के साथ आपसी तालमेल और वैगनों के बेहतर उपयोग से हासिल हुई है। सुव्यवस्थित टर्मिनल संचालन और उर्वरक रेक की कुशल हैंडलिंग से मंडल के भीतर विभिन्न लोडिंग पॉइंट्स से सुचारू और समय पर डिस्पैच संभव हुआ है।
उर्वरक लॉजिस्टिक्स को मजबूत करके आसनसोल मंडल कृषि उत्पादकता और ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को समर्थन देना जारी रखे हुए है, साथ ही कुल आर्थिक स्थिरता में भी योगदान दे रहा है। ये प्रयास यात्री और अन्य माल ढुलाई संचालन के कुशल प्रबंधन के साथ-साथ किए जा रहे हैं, जिससे संतुलित और विश्वसनीय रेलवे सेवाएं सुनिश्चित होती हैं।

*Over 1.8% growth in fertilizer loading during April–January 2025–26 ensures timely supply of essential agricultural inputs*
Asansol, 09 February 2026:-
Asansol Division of Eastern Railway has recorded healthy growth in fertilizer loading during the current financial year, reinforcing its role in ensuring timely availability of fertilizers for farmers and supporting agricultural activities across the region.
During the period from April to January 2025–26, fertilizer loading over Asansol Division reached 1.12 million tonnes, compared to 1.10 million tonnes during the corresponding period of April to January 2024–25, registering an increase of over 1.8 percent. This growth reflects steady improvement in the movement of essential agricultural commodities through rail-based logistics.
Transportation of fertilizers by rail plays a crucial role in maintaining uninterrupted agricultural supply chains, particularly during peak farming seasons. The improved loading performance highlights focused efforts towards providing safe, reliable and cost-effective transportation of fertilizers, ensuring their timely availability to farmers and agricultural markets.
The increase in fertilizer movement has been achieved through better planning of freight operations, close coordination with loading agencies and optimized utilization of wagons. Streamlined terminal operations and efficient handling of fertilizer rakes have enabled smooth and timely dispatch from various loading points within the Division.
By strengthening fertilizer logistics, Asansol Division continues to support agricultural productivity and the rural economy, while contributing to overall economic stability. These efforts are being carried out alongside efficient management of passenger and other freight operations, ensuring balanced and reliable railway services.
