पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल ने ड्यूटी के दौरान स्टेशन मास्टर और पॉइंट्समैन सहित परिचालन कर्मचारियों द्वारा मोबाइल फोन के इस्तेमाल पर प्रतिबंध लगाकर रेलवे संरक्षा को मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक महत्त्वपूर्ण कदम उठाया है। ट्रेन परिचालन में संरक्षा के उच्चतम मानकों को सुनिश्चित करने और निर्बाध परिचालन को ध्यान में रखते हुए यह निर्णय लिया गया है।
यह प्रतिबंध तत्काल प्रभाव से ट्रेन की आवाजाही और स्टेशन प्रबंधन से सीधे जुड़े कर्मचारियों पर लागू होता है। ये कर्मचारी परिचालन दक्षता और यात्री संरक्षा बनाए रखने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। मोबाइल के इस्तेमाल को प्रतिबंधित करके मंडल का उद्देश्य संभावित विकर्षणों को खत्म करना है जो सुरक्षा प्रोटोकॉल और परिचालन कर्तव्यों के निर्बाध निष्पादन से समझौता कर सकते हैं।

Asansol Division of Eastern Railway has taken a significant step towards bolstering railway safety by prohibiting the use of mobile phones by operational staff, including Station Masters and Pointsmen, while on duty. This decision has been taken to maintain uninterrupted focus and ensure the highest standards of safety in train operations.
Effective immediately, the ban applies to staff directly involved in train movement and station management. These personnel play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and passenger safety. By restricting mobile usage, the Division aims to eliminate potential distractions that could compromise the seamless execution of safety protocols and operational duties.
Stringent measures will be implemented to monitor compliance with this directive. Staff members have been instructed to deposit their mobile phones at designated locations before commencing their shifts. Communication with operational staff during emergencies will be facilitated through official communication systems.
