विश्व रक्तदाता दिवस 2025 के अवसर पर आसनसोल मंडल के स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण विभाग ने मंडल रेलवे अस्पताल, आसनसोल के रक्त केंद्र और जिला अस्पताल, आसनसोल के सहयोग से 17 जून, 2025 को स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया। यह कार्यक्रम विवेकानंद इंस्च्यूट (डूरंड हॉल), आसनसोल में आयोजित किया गया, जिसका वैश्विक थीम था – “रक्त दें, आशा दें। इस अवसर पर हम एक साथ मिलकर जीवन बचाते हैं।”
मंडल भर के विभिन्न विभागों और शाखाओं के रेलवे कर्मचारियों ने काफी संख्या में रक्तदान किया, जिससे जरूरतमंद लोगों के जीवन बचाने के प्रति सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी और एकजुटता की भावना का पता चलता है। इस कार्यक्रम के दौरान शिविर में 62 यूनिट रक्त एकत्र किया गया, जो गंभीर स्थिति वाले रोगियों की स्वास्थ्य संबंधी जरूरतों के लिए एक बहुमूल्य योगदान होगा।
प्रशंसा और प्रोत्साहन के प्रतीक के रूप में सभी रक्तदाताओं को उनके निस्वार्थ भाव का सम्मान करते हुए प्रमाण पत्र और स्मृति चिन्ह प्रदान किए गए।
इस तरह की पहल से सुरक्षित रक्त की पर्याप्त आपूर्ति बनाए रखने और नियमित स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान के महत्त्व के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने में मदद मिलती है। मंडल आने वाले दिनों में इसी तरह के मानवीय प्रयासों का समर्थन और प्रचार करना जारी रखेगा।

*ASANSOL DIVISION CELEBRATES WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY WITH VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION CAMP*
Asansol, June 17, 2025:
To mark the occasion of World Blood Donor Day 2025, the Health & Family Welfare Department of Asansol Division, in collaboration with the Blood Centre of Divisional Railway Hospital, Asansol, and District Hospital, Asansol, organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on June 17, 2025. The event was held at Vivekananda Institute (Durand Hall), Asansol, with the global theme — “Give Blood, Give Hope. Together We Save Lives.”
Railway employees from various departments and branches across the division came forward in large numbers to donate blood, showcasing a strong sense of social responsibility and solidarity towards saving lives. The camp saw the collection of 62 units of blood, which will be a valuable contribution to the healthcare needs of patients in critical conditions.
As a token of appreciation and encouragement, certificates and mementos were presented to all donors, honouring their selfless gesture.
Such initiatives help in maintaining an adequate supply of safe blood and spread awareness about the importance of regular voluntary blood donation. The division will continue to support and promote similar humanitarian efforts in the days ahead.
