भारतीय रेलवे ने रविवार, 1 जून 2025 को निर्धारित समय के अनुसार आसनसोल मंडल में संरक्षा संबंधी महत्वपूर्ण बुनियादी ढांचे के कार्यों को सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया। इन कार्यों में शंकरपुर (एसएनक्यू) में पुराने फुट ओवर ब्रिज (एफओबी) को हटाना और जसीडीह (जेएसएमई) और शंकरपुर (एसएनक्यू) के बीच रेलवे ट्रैक को क्विक ट्रैक-रिन्यूअल मशीनों (पीक्यूआरएस) का उपयोग करके नवीनीकृत करना शामिल था।
पुराना फुट ओवर ब्रिज (एफओबी), जो डिजाइन की अवधि से अधिक पुराना हो चुका था और संभावित संरक्षा संबंधी जोखिम पैदा कर रहा था, सावधानीपूर्वक हटा दिया गया। एक नया फुट ओवर ब्रिज (एफओबी) पहले ही बनाया जा चुका है और सार्वजनिक उपयोग के लिए खोल दिया गया है, जिससे प्लेटफॉर्म पर यात्रियों के लिए सुरक्षित और निर्बाध आवाजाही सुनिश्चित हो सके।
इसके अलावा, पीक्यूआरएस तकनीक का उपयोग करके ट्रैक का नवीनीकरण कुशलतापूर्वक किया गया, जिससे घिसी-पिटी रेलों को तेजी से और सटीक तरीके से बदला जा सका। इस अपग्रेड से परिचालन संरक्षा में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि होगी, ट्रेनों की आवाजाही सुचारू होगी और भविष्य में अनुरक्षण की आवश्यकता कम होगी
कार्य के दिन भी अपरिहार्य ट्रेन विनियमन के बावजूद ट्रेन का परिचालन सुचारू रूप से फिर से शुरू हुआ और तब से सामान्य सेवाएं बहाल हो गई हैं।
इस दौरान यात्रियों द्वारा दिखाए गए सहयोग और समझ सराहनीय है।

*SAFETY-RELATED WORKS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY IN ASANSOL DIVISION*
Asansol, June 01, 2025:
Indian Railways successfully completed important safety-related infrastructure works in Asansol Division on Sunday, 1st June 2025, as scheduled. These works included the dismantling of the old Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at Shankarpur (SNQ) and renewal of railway tracks between Jasidih (JSME) and Shankarpur (SNQ) using quick track-renewal machines (PQRS).
The old FOB, which had outlived its design life and posed a potential safety risk, was carefully removed. A new FOB has already been constructed and opened for public use, ensuring safe and seamless movement for passengers across platforms.
In addition, the track renewal was carried out efficiently using PQRS technology, which enabled fast and precise replacement of worn-out rails. This upgrade will significantly enhance operational safety, ensure smoother train movement, and reduce future maintenance requirements.
Despite the unavoidable train regulation on the day of the work, operations resumed smoothly and normal services have since been restored.
The cooperation and understanding shown by passengers during this period is sincerely appreciated.
