यात्रियों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने तथा रेलवे परिसरों में अवैध गतिविधियों पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण के उद्देश्य से चलाए जा रहे “ऑपरेशन सतर्क” के अंतर्गत, आसनसोल मंडल की रेलवे सुरक्षा बल ने जसीडीह रेलवे स्टेशन पर अवैध शराब की एक खेप बरामद कर महत्वपूर्ण सफलता प्राप्त की है।
26 दिसंबर 2025 को जसीडीह स्टेशन पर नियमित बैगेज स्कैनर जांच के दौरान शाम के समय दो यात्री बैगों में संदिग्ध सामग्री पाए जाने पर सतर्क आरपीएफ कर्मियों ने तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए सामान को जांच के लिए रोका। गहन जांच के दौरान कुल 15 बोतल शराब बरामद की गई, जिनमें 12 बोतल ब्लैक बैकार्डी तथा 3 बोतल मैजिक मोमेंट्स ग्रेन वोडका शामिल हैं। सभी बोतलें 750 मिलीलीटर क्षमता की थीं।
बरामद शराब की कुल मात्रा 11.250 लीटर पाई गई। घटना की सूचना तत्काल ड्यूटी पर तैनात वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को दी गई तथा नियमानुसार मौके पर आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई की गई। उपलब्ध गवाहों की उपस्थिति में जब्ती सूची तैयार की गई।
इसके उपरांत, जब्त की गई शराब तथा संबंधित व्यक्ति को 27 दिसंबर 2025 को आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई हेतु आबकारी विभाग को सौंप दिया गया।
यह कार्रवाई आरपीएफ, आसनसोल मंडल की सतर्कता, तत्परता और सक्रिय कार्यप्रणाली को दर्शाती है। ऑपरेशन सतर्क के तहत निरंतर निगरानी, सघन जांच एवं समन्वित प्रवर्तन के माध्यम से पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल द्वारा यात्रियों की सुरक्षा और स्टेशन परिसरों में कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने की दिशा में प्रभावी प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।

*RPF JASIDIH FOILS ILLICIT LIQUOR MOVEMENT UNDER “OPERATION SATARK”*
Asansol, 27 December 2025:
As part of its sustained drive to ensure passenger safety and curb unlawful activities on railway premises, the Railway Protection Force of Asansol Division achieved a significant success under “Operation Satark” by detecting and seizing a consignment of illicit liquor at Jasidih Railway Station.
On 26 December 2025, during routine baggage scanner surveillance at Jasidih station, suspicious contents were detected in two passenger bags during evening hours. Prompt action by alert RPF personnel led to the detention of the luggage for verification. On detailed examination, a total of 15 bottles of liquor, including 12 bottles of Black Bacardi and 3 bottles of Magic Moments Grain Vodka, each of 750 ml capacity, were recovered.
The total seized quantity amounted to 11.250 litres. Immediate intimation was given to senior on-duty officials, and necessary legal formalities were completed on the spot. A seizure memo was prepared in the presence of available witnesses in accordance with laid-down procedures.
Subsequently, the seized liquor along with the detained individual was handed over to the Excise Department on 27 December 2025 for further legal action as per extant rules.
This successful action underscores the vigilance, preparedness and proactive approach of RPF, Asansol Division, in safeguarding railway users and maintaining law and order across station premises. Continuous monitoring, intensified checks and coordinated enforcement under Operation Satark remain key components of Asansol division of Eastern Railway’s passenger-centric security framework.
