*तीन (03) लोकप्रिय एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों में अतिरिक्त कोच बढ़ाना*

लोकप्रिय एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों में अतिरिक्त कोच बढ़ाना एक लगातार चलने वाली पहल है, जिसका उद्देश्य यात्रियों के पूरे यात्रा अनुभव को बेहतर बनाना है। इसलिए यात्रियों के बेहतर आराम और अधिक भीड़ को ध्यान में रखते हुए रेलवे ने निम्नलिखित एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों में अस्थायी आधार पर अतिरिक्त वातानुकूलित और शयनयान श्रेणी के कोच जोड़ने का निर्णय लिया है:
19608/19607 मदार जंक्शन – कोलकाता – मदार जंक्शन साप्ताहिक एक्सप्रेस में एक वातानुकूलित-2 टियर कोच जोड़ा जाएगा। यह एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन 02.03.2026 से 30.03.2026 तक (नामित दिनों में) मदार जंक्शन से और 05.03.2026 से 02.04.2026 तक (नामित दिनों में) कोलकाता से रवाना होगी। उक्त ट्रेन 22 कोच के साथ चलेगी।
12988/12987 अजमेर – सियालदह – अजमेर एक्सप्रेस के साथ एक वातानुकूलित –प्रथम श्रेणी का कोच जोड़ा जाएगा। यह ट्रेन 01.03.2026 से 31.03.2026 तक अजमेर से और 02.03.2026 से 01.04.2026 तक सियालदह से रवाना होगी। उक्त ट्रेन 22 कोच के साथ चलेगी।
12495/12496 बीकानेर – कोलकाता – बीकानेर एक्सप्रेस के साथ एक वातानुकूलित -3 टियर और एक स्लीपर क्लास कोच जोड़ा जाएगा। यह ट्रेन 05.03.2026 से 26.03.2026 तक (नामित दिनों में) बीकानेर से और 06.03.2026 से 27.03.2026 तक (नामित दिनों में) कोलकाता से रवाना होगी। उक्त ट्रेन 22 कोच के साथ चलेगी।

*AUGMENTATION OF ADDITIONAL COACH IN THREE POPULAR EXPRESS TRAINS*
Asansol, February 25, 2026:
The augmentation of additional coaches in popular express trains is an ongoing initiative aimed at improving overall travel experience for passengers. Accordingly, for better comfort & to clear the extra rush of the passengers, Railway has decided to augment additional Air-Conditioned & Sleeper Class coaches on temporary basis with following Express trains:
One AC-2 tier coach will be augmented with 19608/19607 Madar Jn. – Kolkata – Madar Jn. Weekly Express leaving Madar Jn. from 02.03.2026 to 30.03.2026 (on nominated days) and leaving Kolkata from 05.03.2026 to 02.04.2026 (on nominated days). The train will run with 22 coaches.
One AC-First Class coach will be augmented with 12988/12987 Ajmer – Sealdah – Ajmer Express leaving Ajmer from 01.03.2026 to 31.03.2026 and leaving Sealdah from 02.03.2026 to 01.04.2026. The train will run with 22 coaches.
One AC-3 tier & One Sleeper Class coaches will be augmented with 12495/12496 Bikaner – Kolkata – Bikaner Express leaving Bikaner from 05.03.2026 to 26.03.2026 (on nominated days) and leaving Kolkata from 06.03.2026 to 27.03.2026 (on nominated days). The train will run with 22 coaches.
