क्षेत्रीय रेल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को बेहतर बनाने और यात्रियों की सुविधा बढ़ाने की दिशा में एक अहम पड़ाव के तौर पर पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल के तहत देवघर-हंसडीहा सेक्शन में मोहनपुर और खैरियाडीह स्टेशनों के बीच मौजूद त्रिकुट पर्वत हॉल्ट स्टेशन की नींव आज (22.02.2026) माननीय सांसद श्री निशिकांत दुबे ने रखी। इस मौके पर आसनसोल के मंडल रेलवे प्रबंधक श्री संग्रह मौर्य और रेलवे के अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारीगण और गणमान्य लोग मौजूद थे। इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य झारखंड के ज़रूरी आध्यात्मिक और टूरिस्ट जगहों में से एक तक रेल की पहुँच को बेहतर बनाना है।
श्री निशिकांत दुबे ने कहा कि नया हॉल्ट स्टेशन यात्रियों को फ़ायदा पहुँचाएगा, टूरिज़्म को बढ़ावा देगा और इलाके के विकास में मदद करेगा। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि यह हॉल्ट स्टेशन, स्थानीय लोगों की लंबे समय से चली आ रही माँग को पूरा करते हुए हिंडोलाबरन, बड़ा झरना, छोटा झरना, सतीघाट, खरैयाडीह और सिंग रेड्डी जैसे आस-पास के गाँवों को सीधी रेल कनेक्टिविटी देगा, जिससे दूर के स्टेशनों पर निर्भरता कम होगी और छात्रों, मज़दूरों तथा स्थानीय लोगों के लिए रोज़ाना का सफ़र आसान होगा।
प्रस्तावित त्रिकुट पर्वत हॉल्ट स्टेशन को लगभग 3 करोड़ रुपये से ज़्यादा की लागत से बनाया जाएगा। यात्रियों की सुविधा और पहुँच को बढ़ाने के लिए एक विकासात्मक योजना तैयार किया गया है। मुख्य इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर में यात्रियों के लिए शेल्टर, अप्रोच रोड, बुकिंग-कम-वेटिंग हॉल और बैठने की व्यवस्था के साथ एक हाई-लेवल प्लेटफ़ॉर्म बनाना, पीने के पानी की सुविधा, पुरुषों और महिलाओं के लिए अलग-अलग शौचालय, काफ़ी लाइटिंग और पंखे लगाना, और दिव्यांगजनों के लिए पहुँच सुविधाएँ शामिल हैं।
देवघर शहर से करीब 10 km दूर त्रिकूट पर्वत (त्रिकुटाचल) झारखंड का एक खास ऐतिहासिक, आध्यात्मिक और इको-टूरिज्म लैंडमार्क है। ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और महेश की निशानी तीन पवित्र चोटियों के लिए मशहूर यह पहाड़ी पुरानी आध्यात्मिक परंपराओं से जुड़ी है। बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक, बैद्यनाथ धाम के पास होने की वजह से यहाँ साल भर तीर्थयात्री आते हैं। त्रिकूटचल महादेव मंदिर, पुरानी मेडिटेशन गुफाएँ, रोपवे की सुविधा और सुंदर प्राकृतिक माहौल त्रिकूट पर्वत को एक बड़ा आध्यात्मिक और टूरिज्म सेंटर बनाते हैं, जहाँ खासकर श्रावण महीने और त्योहारों के मौसम में बहुत ज़्यादा लोग आते हैं।
मयूराक्षी नदी झारखंड के देवघर में त्रिकूट पहाड़ियों से निकलती है, और भागीरथी-हुगली नदी में मिलने से पहले झारखंड और पश्चिम बंगाल से होकर बहती है। यह नदी आस-पास के इलाकों में सिंचाई और इलाके के विकास के लिए ज़रूरी है।
त्रिकुट पर्वत हॉल्ट स्टेशन की नींव रखने से इस इलाके में बेहतर रेल कनेक्टिविटी, धार्मिक टूरिज्म में बढ़ोतरी, स्थानीय रोज़गार के मौके और पूरे सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकास की शुरुआत होगी।

*FOUNDATION STONE LAID FOR TRIKUT PARVAT HALT STATION*

Asansol, 22 February 2026:
Marking a significant milestone towards improved regional rail infrastructure and enhanced passenger convenience, the foundation stone for Trikut Parvat Halt Station, located between Mohanpur and Khairiyadih stations in the Deoghar–Hansdiha Section under Asansol Division of Eastern Railway, was laid today (22.02.2026) by Shri Nishikant Dubey, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, in the presence of Shri Sangrah Maurya, Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol, along with other senior railway officials and dignitaries. The project aims to improve rail accessibility to one of Jharkhand’s important spiritual and tourist destinations.
Shri Nishikant Dubey stated that the new halt station will benefit passengers, promote tourism and support regional development. He further stated that the halt station, fulfilling a long-standing demand of local residents, will provide direct rail connectivity to nearby villages including Hindolabaran, Bara Jharna, Chhota Jharna, Satighat, Kharaiyadih and Sing Raddy, thereby reducing dependency on distant stations and easing daily travel for students, workers and local residents.
The proposed Trikut Parvat Halt Station will be developed at an estimated cost of over Rs. 3 crore. A development plan has been prepared to enhance passenger convenience and accessibility. Key infrastructure provisions include development of a high-level platform with passenger shelter, approach road, booking-cum-waiting hall and seating arrangements, provision of drinking water facilities, separate toilets for men and women, installation of adequate lighting and fans, and accessibility features for Divyangjan.
Trikut Parvat (Trikutachal), situated about 10 km from Deoghar town, is a prominent historical, spiritual and eco-tourism landmark of Jharkhand. Known for its three sacred peaks symbolizing Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, the hill is associated with ancient spiritual traditions. Its proximity to the revered Baidyanath Dham, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, attracts pilgrims throughout the year. The Trikutachal Mahadev Temple, ancient meditation caves, ropeway facility and scenic natural surroundings make Trikut Parvat a major spiritual and tourism centre, witnessing heavy footfall especially during the Shravan month and festive seasons.
The Mayurakshi River originates from the Trikut Hills at Deoghar, Jharkhand, and flows through Jharkhand and West Bengal before joining the Bhagirathi–Hooghly river system. The river is important for irrigation and regional development in the surrounding areas.
The foundation stone laying of Trikut Parvat Halt Station marks the beginning of improved rail connectivity, enhanced religious tourism, local employment opportunities and overall socio-economic development of the region.
