समर्पण और सतर्कता का एक उल्लेखनीय प्रदर्शन करने हेतु वरिष्ठ अनुभाग अभियंता/कैरेज एंड वैगन/प्लेटफॉर्म/आसनसोल के अधीन कार्यरत सहायक (कैरेज एंड वैगन) श्री सिया राम बैरवा को मंडल रेल प्रबंधक/आसनसोल द्वारा नवंबर 2024 के लिए गौरव मंडल पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है।
11 नवंबर, 2024 को अपने नियमित रोलिंग जांच ड्यूटी के दौरान श्री बैरवा ने आसनसोल स्टेशन के प्लेटफॉर्म संख्या 06 पर खड़ी एक ट्रेन के कोच में एक गंभीर खराबी का पता लगाकर असाधारण सतर्कता का परिचय दिया। श्री बैरवा द्वारा खराबी का तुरंत पता लगाने और अपने ड्यूटी पर मौजूद पर्यवेक्षक को तत्काल सूचित करने से संभावित अप्रिय घटना टल गई। खराबी की पुष्टि होने पर पर्यवेक्षक ने आवश्यक एहतियाती उपाय किए जाने के बाद ही कोच को आगे बढ़ने दिया।
श्री बैरवा की त्वरित सोच और कर्तव्य के प्रति समर्पण रेलवे परिचालन की संरक्षा और विश्वसनीयता सुनिश्चित करने में सतर्कता और सक्रिय उपायों के महत्व को दर्शाती है। उनके अनुकरणीय प्रदर्शन के लिए उन्हें प्रतिष्ठित गौरव मंडल पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है, यह एक ऐसा सम्मान है, जो उनकी प्रतिबद्धता और जिम्मेदारियों के प्रति समर्पण को दर्शाता है।

*DEDICATED RAILWAY STAFF MEMBER SHRI SIYA RAM BAIRWA AWARDED GAURAV MANDAL PURASKAR FOR ALERTNESS AND PROMPT ACTION*

In a remarkable display of dedication and vigilance, Shri Siya Ram Bairwa, Assistant (Carriage & Wagon), working under the Senior Section Engineer/Carriage & Wagon/Platform/Asansol, has been conferred with the Gaurav Mandal Puraskar for the month of November 2024 by DRM/Asansol.
On 11th November 2024, during his routine rolling examination duty, Shri Bairwa exhibited exceptional alertness by detecting a critical fault in a train coach, stationed at Platform No. 6 of Asansol Station. Shri Bairwa’s prompt detection of the fault and immediate reporting to his on-duty supervisor averted a potential untoward incident. The supervisor, upon confirmation of the fault, allowed the coach to proceed only after necessary precautionary measures were arranged.
The recognition of Shri Bairwa’s quick thinking and dedication to duty underscores the importance of vigilance and proactive measures in ensuring the safety and reliability of railway operations. His exemplary performance has earned him the prestigious Gaurav Mandal Puraskar, an honor that highlights his commitment and devotion to his responsibilities.
