आगामी होली के त्योहार को देखते हुए, पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल ने त्योहार के दौरान सुगम, सुरक्षित और आरामदायक यात्रा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए व्यापक यात्री प्रबंधन उपायों के साथ विशेष ट्रेन सेवाएं लागू की हैं। होली के दौरान यात्रियों की मांग में पारंपरिक रूप से देखी जाने वाली भारी वृद्धि को ध्यान में रखते हुए, मंडल के सभी स्टेशनों पर सुचारू आवागमन सुनिश्चित करने और वहन क्षमता बढ़ाने के लिए सक्रिय कदम उठाए गए हैं।
पूरे देश में मनाया जाने वाला रंगों का जीवंत त्योहार होली, लोगों के अपने गृहनगरों की यात्रा के दौरान बड़े पैमाने पर यात्रा का गवाह बनता है, क्योंकि लोग परिवार और दोस्तों के साथ जश्न मनाने जाते हैं। मौसमी भीड़ और उससे जुड़ी भीड़भाड़ की चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए, होली के त्योहारों के दौरान आसनसोल मंडल में कुल 28 जोड़ी होली स्पेशल ट्रेनें और 3 एकतरफा होली स्पेशल ट्रेनें चलाई जा रही हैं। इन ट्रेनों में मंडल से शुरू होने वाली, मंडल से गुजरने वाली और मंडल में समाप्त होने वाली सेवाएं शामिल हैं, जिससे महत्त्वपूर्ण रूटों पर बेहतर कनेक्टिविटी सुनिश्चित हो रही है।
व्यस्ततम समय (पीक आवर्स) के दौरान यात्रियों की आवाजाही को नियंत्रित करने के लिए, आसनसोल, मधुपुर और जसीडीह स्टेशनों पर कवर्ड वेटिंग टेन्ट लगाए गए हैं। इन वेटिंग एरिया का उपयोग यात्रियों को चरणबद्ध और व्यवस्थित तरीके से प्लेटफॉर्म पर प्रवेश कराने के लिए किया जा रहा है, जिससे भीड़भाड़ को रोका जा सके और भीड़ को बेहतर ढंग से नियंत्रित किया जा सके।
टिकट चेकिंग स्टाफ और सुपरवाइजर सहित अतिरिक्त वाणिज्य कर्मचारियों को प्रमुख स्टेशनों पर तैनात किया गया है ताकि निगरानी को मजबूत किया जा सके और यात्रियों की सुचारू आवाजाही सुनिश्चित की जा सके। सुरक्षा बनाए रखने, कतारों को नियंत्रित करने और भीड़ की आवाजाही को प्रभावी ढंग से प्रबंधित करने के लिए रणनीतिक स्थानों पर अतिरिक्त आरपीएफ कर्मियों को भी तैनात किया गया है। एस्केलेटर, सीढ़ियों और लिफ्टों की सीसीटीवी निगरानी प्रणाली के माध्यम से लगातार निगरानी की जा रही है। स्टेशन परिसर चौबीसों घंटे सीसीटीवी निगरानी में है।
ट्रेनों के समय, प्लेटफार्म की जानकारी और सुरक्षा संबंधी सलाह नियमित अंतराल पर सार्वजनिक घोषणाएं की जा रही हैं। प्लेटफार्म और आवागमन क्षेत्रों में पेयजल की सुविधा, प्रतीक्षा क्षेत्र और स्वच्छता व्यवस्था को और मजबूत किया गया है। कोचों में पर्याप्त पानी की आपूर्ति और स्वच्छता व्यवस्था भी सुनिश्चित की जा रही है।
होली के त्योहार के दौरान आसनसोल मंडल में सुचारू ट्रेन संचालन, कुशल भीड़ प्रबंधन और यात्रियों की सुरक्षित आवाजाही सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी व्यवस्थाओं की मंडल स्तर पर गहन निगरानी रखी जा रही है और विभागों के बीच प्रभावी समन्वय स्थापित किया जा रहा है।

*ASANSOL DIVISION IMPLEMENTS SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR HOLI FESTIVAL RUSH*
*HOLDING TENTS FOR PASSENGERS AT ASANSOL, MADHUPUR AND JASIDIH*
Asansol, 02 March 2026:
In view of the upcoming Holi festival, Asansol Division of Eastern Railway has implemented special train services along with comprehensive passenger management measures to ensure smooth, safe and comfortable travel during the festive period. Considering the substantial surge in passenger demand traditionally witnessed during Holi, proactive steps have been taken to augment carrying capacity and ensure orderly movement at stations across the Division.
Holi, the vibrant festival of colours celebrated across the country, witnesses large-scale travel as people journey to their hometowns to celebrate with family and friends. To manage the seasonal rush and associated crowd-related challenges, a total of 28 pairs of Holi Special Trains and 03 one-way Holi Special Trains are being operated over Asansol Division during the festive period. These trains include services originating from, passing through, and terminating within the Division, thereby providing significant connectivity support on important routes.
To regulate passenger flow during peak hours, covered holding tents have been commissioned at Asansol, Madhupur and Jasidih stations. These holding areas are being utilized to facilitate phased and systematic entry of passengers to platforms, thereby preventing overcrowding and ensuring better crowd control.
Additional commercial staff, including ticket checking staff and supervisors, have been deployed at key stations to strengthen monitoring and ensure smooth passenger handling. Additional RPF personnel have also been deployed at strategic locations to maintain security, regulate queues and manage crowd movement effectively. Escalators, staircases and lifts are being continuously monitored through CCTV surveillance systems. Station premises remain under round-the-clock CCTV surveillance.
Continuous public announcements regarding train timings, platform information and safety advisories are being made at regular intervals. Drinking water facilities, waiting areas and cleanliness arrangements at platforms and circulating areas have been further strengthened. Adequate coach watering and sanitation arrangements are also being ensured.
All arrangements are being closely supervised at the Divisional level with effective inter-departmental coordination to ensure regulated train operations, efficient crowd management and safe passenger handling throughout the Holi festival period across Asansol Division.
