At the SDO Office Durgapur, a group of local residents reached the office to submit a deputation regarding their names being placed under adjudication in the SIR process. The individuals said that due to their names appearing under adjudication, they are facing difficulties and uncertainty regarding their voter-related status.
The people gathered at the office and appealed to the administration to look into the matter and fulfill their demands as soon as possible. They requested the authorities to review their cases and take the necessary steps so that the issue can be resolved without delay.
Those who went to submit the deputation included Mahabub Ali Khan, Sk Hanif, Sk Kamrujjaman, Aksar Ali Khan, Syed Saddam Ali, Altaf Khan, Bilkish Khanam, Subir, Sk Muddasar Arif, Sk Rajjak, Sk Munna and S. A. Khan.
According to the group, they visited the office peacefully and submitted their deputation to the concerned authorities so that their names can be reviewed and the matter can be resolved at the earliest. The administration assured that the issue would be looked into as per the rules and necessary action would be taken after verification.
