Asansol, 26 June 2025:
In order to cater to the increased passenger demand during the auspicious Shravani Mela 2025, Railway has decided to run a special unreserved train service between Asansol and Patna. The Asansol–Patna–Asansol Shravani Mela Special Train will provide convenient travel options to the Kanwariyas and other pilgrims travelling during this festive period.
Lakhs of devotees undertake the pious barefoot Kanwar Yatra from Sultanganj to Deoghar during this time, carrying holy Ganga Jal to offer at the sacred Jyotirlinga of Lord Baidyanath at Baidyanath Dham. To support this religious movement, Eastern Railway will operate the following special services:
Train No. 03511 Asansol–Patna Shravani Mela Special will run on the following 22 dates:
Friday, 11.07.2025; Saturday, 12.07.2025; Monday, 14.07.2025; Tuesday, 15.07.2025; Wednesday, 16.07.2025; Friday, 18.07.2025; Saturday, 19.07.2025; Monday, 21.07.2025; Tuesday, 22.07.2025; Wednesday, 23.07.2025; Friday, 25.07.2025; Saturday, 26.07.2025; Monday, 28.07.2025; Tuesday, 29.07.2025; Wednesday, 30.07.2025; Friday, 01.08.2025; Saturday, 02.08.2025; Monday, 04.08.2025; Tuesday, 05.08.2025; Wednesday, 06.08.2025; Friday, 08.08.2025; and Saturday, 09.08.2025.
This train will depart from Asansol at 17:00 hrs. and reach Patna at 01:30 hrs. on the next day.
Train No. 03512 Patna–Asansol Shravani Mela Special will run on the following 22 dates:
Saturday, 12.07.2025; Sunday, 13.07.2025; Tuesday, 15.07.2025; Wednesday, 16.07.2025; Thursday, 17.07.2025; Saturday, 19.07.2025; Sunday, 20.07.2025; Tuesday, 22.07.2025; Wednesday, 23.07.2025; Thursday, 24.07.2025; Saturday, 26.07.2025; Sunday, 27.07.2025; Tuesday, 29.07.2025; Wednesday, 30.07.2025; Thursday, 31.07.2025; Saturday, 02.08.2025; Sunday, 03.08.2025; Tuesday, 05.08.2025; Wednesday, 06.08.2025; Thursday, 07.08.2025; Saturday, 09.08.2025; and Sunday, 10.08.2025.
This train will depart from Patna at 10:30 hrs. and reach Asansol at 19:00 hrs. on the same day.
The train will have 20 General Second Class coaches. This train will stop at Chittaranjan, Madhupur, and Jasidih stations under Asansol Division in both directions.
This special train service is aimed at ensuring safe and comfortable travel for the devotees during the Shravani Mela season.
