*आसनसोल मंडल में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस मनाया गया; महिला कर्मचारियों को सम्मानित किया गया*
आसनसोल, 10 मार्च 2026:
पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल में 10.03.2026 को विवेकानंद इंस्टिट्यूट, आसनसोल में आयोजित एक सम्मान समारोह के माध्यम से अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस 2026 मनाया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य मंडल के विभिन्न विभागों में कार्यरत महिला कर्मचारियों के समर्पण, उपलब्धियों तथा महत्वपूर्ण योगदान को पहचान देना और उनकी सराहना करना था। कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से महिला सशक्तिकरण के महत्व तथा रेलवे सेवाओं को सुदृढ़ बनाने में महिलाओं की बढ़ती भूमिका को भी रेखांकित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर आसनसोल मंडल के विभिन्न विभागों की महिला कर्मचारियों को उनके कर्तव्यनिष्ठा, समर्पण एवं उत्कृष्ट कार्य निष्पादन के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान रेल संचालन को सुचारु बनाए रखने तथा यात्रियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण सेवाएं प्रदान करने में उनके महत्वपूर्ण योगदान की सराहना की गई।
मंडल की महिला कर्मचारी रेल संचालन, सुरक्षा, प्रशासन तथा यात्री सेवाओं जैसे महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों में सक्रिय रूप से अपनी जिम्मेदारियाँ निभा रही हैं। वे लोको पायलट, गार्ड, स्टेशन प्रबंधक, टिकट परीक्षक तथा बुकिंग क्लर्क जैसे प्रमुख पदों पर दक्षता, प्रतिबद्धता और पेशेवर क्षमता के साथ कार्य करते हुए मंडल के सुचारु संचालन में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दे रही हैं।
इस अवसर पर महिला सशक्तिकरण विषय पर आधारित एक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम भी आयोजित किया गया। महिला कर्मचारियों द्वारा गीत, नृत्य, नाटक एवं काव्य पाठ की प्रस्तुतियाँ दी गईं, जिन्हें उपस्थित सभी लोगों द्वारा अत्यंत सराहा गया। इन सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों ने कार्यक्रम में उत्साह और प्रेरणा का वातावरण उत्पन्न किया।
यह कार्यक्रम रेलवे में लैंगिक समानता को बढ़ावा देने तथा महिला कर्मचारियों की भागीदारी और सशक्तिकरण को प्रोत्साहित करने के प्रति आसनसोल मंडल की निरंतर प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है।

*INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATED IN ASANSOL DIVISION; WOMEN EMPLOYEES FELICITATED*
Asansol, 10 March 2026:
International Women’s Day 2026 was celebrated in Asansol Division of Eastern Railway with a felicitation programme organized on 10.03.2026 at Vivekananda Institute, Asansol. The programme was held to recognize and appreciate the dedication, achievements and valuable contributions of women employees working in various departments of the division. The event highlighted the importance of women empowerment and the growing role of women in strengthening railway services.
On this occasion, women employees from different departments of Asansol Division were felicitated in recognition of their sincerity, commitment and commendable performance in their respective fields. Their contributions in maintaining efficient railway operations and ensuring quality passenger services were appreciated during the programme.
Women employees of the division are actively performing responsibilities in several important areas such as train operations, safety, administration and passenger services. They are also efficiently discharging duties in key positions including Loco Pilots, Guards, Station Managers, Ticket Examiners and Booking Clerks, thereby contributing significantly to the smooth functioning of the division through their professionalism and dedication.
A cultural programme based on the theme of women empowerment was also organized as part of the celebration. Women employees presented songs, dance performances, skits and poetry recitations, which added enthusiasm and inspiration to the event.
The programme reflected Asansol Division’s continued commitment towards promoting gender equality and encouraging the participation and empowerment of women employees in the Railways.
