धरती आबा भगवान बिरसा मुंडा की जयंती आज सुबह 11:30 बजे आसनसोल के मंडल रेल प्रबंधक कार्यालय के प्रांगण में श्रद्धा और उत्साह के साथ मनाई गई। इस अवसर पर शाखा अधिकारियों, रेलवे कर्मचारियों और गणमान्य लोगों ने भाग लिया, जो महान आदिवासी नेता और स्वतंत्रता सेनानी को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए एकत्र हुए।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत आसनसोल के मंडल रेल प्रबंधक (डीआरएम), श्री चेतना नंद सिंह और अपर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक (एडीआरएम), श्री प्रवीण कुमार प्रेम द्वारा भगवान बिरसा मुंडा के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण के साथ हुई। इसके बाद शाखा अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की, जिसमें आदिवासी प्रतिरोध और सामाजिक न्याय की भावना के प्रतीक नेता के प्रति सामूहिक सम्मान को दर्शाया गया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान, उपस्थित लोगों ने बिरसा मुंडा के जीवन और उपलब्धियों को याद करते हुए उन पर चिंतन-मनन किया, जिनके योगदान ने अनगिनत व्यक्तियों को प्रेरित किया है। भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के अग्रदूत के रूप में जाने जाने वाले, आदिवासी समुदायों के उत्थान के लिए उनकी अटूट प्रतिबद्धता आशा और साहस की किरण बनी हुई है।

*BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF DHARTI ABA BHAGWAN BIRSA MUNDA CELEBRATED AT ASANSOL DIVISION*

The birth anniversary of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda was celebrated with reverence and enthusiasm today at 11:30 hrs in the foyer of the DRM office, Asansol. The occasion saw the participation of branch officers, railway staff, and dignitaries, who gathered to pay homage to the great tribal leader and freedom fighter.
The program commenced with the garlanding of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s portrait by Shri Chetna Nand Singh, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Asansol, and Shri Praveen Kumar Prem, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM). This was followed by floral tributes from branch officers and staff, highlighting the collective respect for the leader who symbolized the spirit of tribal resistance and social justice.
During the event, attendees reflected on the life and achievements of Birsa Munda, whose contributions continue to inspire countless individuals. Known as a pioneer of India’s freedom struggle, his unwavering commitment to the upliftment of tribal communities remains a beacon of hope and courage.
