*आसनसोल मंडल के सभी स्टेशनों पर मशीन से सफ़ाई व्यवस्था का व्यापक अभियान*

ढांचागत और नियमित सफ़ाई की विशेष पहल की तहत, पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल ने स्टेशन परिसर में स्वास्थ्यप्रद एवं स्वच्छ परिवेश और पैसेंजर की सुविधा को और बेहतर बनाने के लिए सभी कोटि/कैटेगरी के रेलवे स्टेशनों पर मशीन से सफ़ाई का व्यापक अभियान चलाया है।
आसनसोल, रानीगंज, मधुपुर और जसीडीह समेत बड़े और अन्य स्टेशनों पर बड़े पैमाने पर आधुनिक मशीनों से सफ़ाई का काम किया जा रहा है। प्लेटफॉर्म, सर्कुलेटिंग एरिया, स्टेशन भवन, प्रतीक्षालय और यात्रियों द्वारा इस्तेमाल की जानेवाली दूसरी जगहों की अच्छी तरह सफाई की जाती है। खास तौर पर उन जगहों पर जहां ज़्यादा लोगों की आवाजाही रहती है ताकि रेल उपयोक्ताओं के लिए साफ़, सुरक्षित और अच्छा माहौल बना रहे।
आसनसोल के स्टेशन क्षेत्र और परिसर के अलावा, सीतारामपुर, अंडाल, रानीगंज एवं पूरे मंडल के कई दूसरे स्टेशनों पर ट्रैक की सफ़ाई का काम काफ़ी तेज़ कर दिया गया है। सफ़ाई के काम में ट्रैक एरिया से कूड़ा, प्लास्टिक कचरा और अन्य प्रकार के मलबों को व्यवस्थित तरीके से हटाने पर ध्यान दिया गया है, जिससे रेलवे कॉरिडोर में सफ़ाई बेहतर हुई, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था बेहतर हुई है और पर्यावरणीय परिवेश स्वास्थ्यप्रद हुआ है।
छोटे स्टेशनों और हॉल्ट वाली जगहों पर भी सफ़ाई बनाए रखने पर खास ज़ोर दिया गया है। भलुआ हॉल्ट, लाहाबन और जगदीशपुर जैसे स्टेशनों और हॉल्ट पर बड़े पैमाने पर सफ़ाई अभियान चलाए गए, ताकि यह सुनिश्चित हो सके कि बड़े स्टेशनों के साथ-साथ, दूर- दराज के स्टेशनों ( जहाँ लोगों की कम आवाजाही होती हो) पर भी सफ़ाई का एक जैसा मानक बना रहे।
सफ़ाई अभियान की दक्षता और उसे प्रभावशाली बनाने के लिए, सफ़ाई के अत्याधुनिक उपकरण जैसे
हाई-प्रेशर वॉटर जेट मशीन, राइड-ऑन स्क्रबर मशीन इस्तेमाल किए जाते हैं। एडवांस्ड मैकेनाइज्ड टेक्नोलॉजी के इस्तेमाल से स्टेशन परिसर की तीव्र गति से गहन और ज़्यादा असरदार सफाई हो पाई है, साथ ही मैनपावर और संसाधनों का भी सटीक इस्तेमाल हो रहा है।
आसनसोल मंडल में मशीनों द्वारा चल रहा साफ-सफाई का यह अभियान, स्वच्छता और स्वास्थ्य के ऊंचे मानकों को बनाए रखने की दिशा में एक लक्ष्यसिद्ध और रेलवे के व्यवस्थित अप्रोच को दर्शाता है, जिसका मकसद पूरे मंडल में यात्रियों को ज़्यादा साफ़- सुथरा, सुरक्षित और आरामदायक यात्रा का अनुभव देना है।

*INTENSIVE MECHANISED CLEANLINESS DRIVE ACROSS STATIONS OVER ASANSOL DIVISION*

*• Track and Premises Cleaning Intensified at Small Stations and Halt Locations for Uniform Cleanliness*
Asansol, 23 January 2026:
As part of a structured and sustained cleanliness initiative, Asansol Division of Eastern Railway has undertaken an intensive mechanised cleanliness drive across railway stations of all categories to further enhance hygiene, sanitation and passenger convenience at station premises.
Comprehensive mechanised cleaning works have been carried out at major and important stations including Asansol, Raniganj, Madhupur and Jasidih. Platforms, circulating areas, station buildings, waiting halls and other passenger-use areas were thoroughly cleaned with special emphasis on high-footfall zones, ensuring a clean, safe and pleasant environment for rail users.
In addition to station premises, track cleaning activities have been significantly intensified at Sitarampur, Andal, Raniganj and several other stations across the division. The cleaning works focused on systematic removal of litter, plastic waste and other debris from track areas, contributing to improved cleanliness, enhanced safety and better environmental hygiene along the railway corridor.
Special emphasis has also been laid on maintaining cleanliness at smaller stations and halt locations. Intensive cleanliness drives were undertaken at stations and halts such as Bhalua Halt, Lahaban and Jagadishpur, ensuring that uniform cleanliness standards are maintained not only at major stations but also at low-footfall and remote locations.
To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the cleanliness drive, state-of-the-art mechanised cleaning equipment such as high-pressure water jet machines, ride-on scrubber machines and other modern cleaning tools have been deployed. The use of advanced mechanised technology has enabled deeper, faster and more effective cleaning of station premises while optimizing manpower and resources.
The ongoing mechanised cleanliness drive across Asansol Division reflects a focused and systematic approach towards maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene, aimed at providing a cleaner, safer and more comfortable travel experience for passengers across the division.
