पूर्वी रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल के मंडल रेल प्रबंधक (डीआरएम) श्री चेतना नंद सिंह ने 03.09.2024 को सीतारामपुर यार्ड का विस्तृत निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण में चल रहे पाथवे कार्य, विशेष रूप से लाइन संख्या 08 से 13 पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया।
यात्रा के दौरान, मंडल रेल प्रबंधक/आसनसोल ने लाइन संख्या 13 पर पूर्ण हो चुके कार्य की समीक्षा की और लाइन संख्या 11 और 12 पर कार्य की प्रगति को नोट किया। समय पर पूरा होने के महत्व पर जोर देते हुए, श्री सिंह ने निर्देश दिया कि परिचालन में किसी भी संभावित देरी से बचने के लिए इन लाइनों पर काम में तेजी लाई जाए।
श्री सिंह ने सिक लाइन और शेड सुविधाओं का भी निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने संबंधित विभागों को मंडल की परिचालन आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के लिए कार्य की गति में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए।
इसके अलावा, निरीक्षण में सीतारामपुर यार्ड में प्रकाश और वेल्डिंग सुविधाओं की समीक्षा भी शामिल थी। श्री सिंह ने रोलिंग स्टॉक के कुशल रखरखाव का समर्थन करने के लिए इन सुविधाओं को बढ़ाने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।
निरीक्षण कार्यक्रम के दौरान मंडल रेल प्रबंधक/आसनसोल के साथ नामित शाखा अधिकारीगण भी शामिल थे। अधिकारियों ने चल रही विभिन्न परियोजनाओं पर विस्तृत जानकारी दी और चुनौतियों पर चर्चा की, जिससे यार्ड के संचालन और रखरखाव गतिविधियों की व्यापक समीक्षा सुनिश्चित हुई।
निरीक्षण का उद्देश्य रेलवे सेवाओं के सुचारू संचालन को सुनिश्चित करते हुए इसके बुनियादी ढांचे को बनाए रखना और सुधारना है।

*DIVISIONAL RAILWAY MANAGER, ASANSOL , CONDUCTED INSPECTION AT SITARAMPUR YARD*
Asansol, September 03, 2024 :
Shri Chetna Nand Singh, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Asansol, Eastern Railway, conducted a detailed inspection at Sitarampur Yard on 03.09.2024. The inspection focused on ongoing pathway work, particularly on Line Nos. 08 to 13.
During the visit, DRM/Asansol reviewed the completed work on Line No. 13 and noted the work progress on Line Nos. 11 and 12. Emphasizing the importance of timely completion, Shri Singh directed that work on these lines be expedited to avoid any potential delays in operations.
Shri Singh also inspected the sick line and shed facilities. He instructed the concerned departments to accelerate the pace of work to meet the division’s operational requirements.
In addition, the inspection included a review of the light and welding facilities at Sitarampur Yard. Shri Singh stressed the need to enhance these facilities to support the efficient maintenance of rolling stock.
DRM/Asansol was accompanied by Nominated Branch Officers during the inspection programme. The officers provided detailed updates on the various projects underway and discussed the challenges faced, ensuring a comprehensive review of the yard’s operations and maintenance activities.
The inspection is to maintain and improve its infrastructure, ensuring the smooth functioning of railway services.
