आसनसोल, 08 अक्टूबर 2024: स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा 2024 के तहत अपनी गति को जारी रखते हुए, आसनसोल मंडल ने आज आवासीय परिसरों और कार्यस्थल क्षेत्रों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए व्यापक सफाई अभियान चलाया। समग्र सफाई और स्वच्छता में बढ़ोतरी के लिए रेलवे कॉलोनियों, रिटायरिंग रूम, वेटिंग हॉल, रेस्ट हाउस और डॉरमेट्री में गहन सफाई अभियान चलाया गया।
जिन प्रमुख क्षेत्रों में गहन सफाई अभियान चलाए गए, उनमें बराकर कॉलोनी, मधुपुर स्टेशन और इसकी नई कॉलोनी, रानीगंज, चित्तरंजन स्टेशन कॉलोनी और गलसी स्टेशन शामिल हैं। सीतारामपुर में, प्रथम और द्वितीय श्रेणी के वेटिंग हॉल, मुख्य यार्ड मास्टर कार्यालय और रेलवे कॉलोनी पर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया। पानागढ़ और रानीगंज स्टेशनों की भी बड़े पैमाने पर सफाई की गई, साथ ही देवघर स्टेशन और अंडाल रेलवे कॉलोनी के वेटिंग हॉल की भी सफाई की गई, जिसमें अस्पताल परिसर भी शामिल है।
इस पहल के तहत जसीडीह स्टेशन पर वातानुकूलित डॉरमेट्री, प्रीमियम लाउंज और रिटायरिंग रूम की सफाई की गई। स्थायी स्वच्छता प्रथाओं को और अधिक समर्थन देने के लिए, स्रोत पर कचरे को अलग करने को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए सूखे और गीले डस्टबिन लगाए गए। इसके अतिरिक्त, आसनसोल मंडल ने स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा 2024 के दौरान दीर्घकालिक स्वच्छता और स्थिरता के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को मजबूत करते हुए बायो-कम्पोस्ट सुविधाएं स्थापित करने के लिए कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व (सीएसआर) भागीदारी का आह्वान किया।

*INTENSIVE CLEANING DRIVE CONDUCTED AT RAILWAY COLONIES AND STATIONS UNDER SWACHHATA PAKHWARA 2024*

Continuing its momentum under Swachhata Pakhwara 2024, Asansol Division conducted an extensive cleaning drive today, focusing on residential premises and workplace areas. Intensive cleaning activities were undertaken at Railway Colonies, Retiring Rooms, Waiting Halls, Rest Houses, and Dormitories to enhance overall cleanliness and hygiene.
Major areas that witnessed thorough cleaning efforts include Barakar Colony, Madhupur Station and its new colony, Raniganj, Chittaranjan Station Colony, and Galsi Station. At Sitarampur, particular attention was given to first and second-class waiting halls, the CYM office, and the Railway Colony. Panagarh and Raniganj Stations were also cleaned extensively, along with the waiting hall at Deoghar station and Andal Railway Colony, including its hospital premises.
At Jasidih Station, AC dormitories, premium lounges, and retiring rooms were cleaned as part of the initiative. To further support sustainable cleanliness practices, dry and wet dustbins were installed to encourage waste segregation at the source. Additionally, Asansol Division called for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) participation to install bio-compost facilities, reinforcing its commitment to long-term cleanliness and sustainability during Swachhata Pakhwara 2024.
