आसनसोल, 09 अक्टूबर, 2024: आसनसोल मंडल के पूर्व रेलवे के मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री चेतना नंद सिंह ने 09 अक्टूबर, 2024 को रानीगंज स्टेशन की क्रू लॉबी और रनिंग रूम का गहन निरीक्षण किया। इस निरीक्षण का उद्देश्य मंडल के भीतर महत्वपूर्ण बुनियादी ढांचे के कामकाज का आकलन करना और परिचालन दक्षता को बढ़ाना था।
इस दौरे के दौरान, श्री सिंह ने रनिंग रूम में प्रदान की जाने वाली सुविधाओं का मूल्यांकन किया, जिसमें क्रू सदस्यों के लिए आरामदायक परिवेश की आवश्यकता को समझा, क्योंकि यह ट्रेन संचालन की संरक्षा और समय की पाबंदी बनाए रखने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। क्रू सदस्यों और ड्यूटी पर मौजूद कर्मचारियों से उनकी कार्य स्थितियों पर प्रतिक्रिया प्राप्त करने के लिए उन्होंने उनसे बातचीत की। साथ ही कर्मचारी-कल्याण के लिए मंडल की प्रतिबद्धता पर प्रकाश डाला गया।
निरीक्षण क्रू लॉबी और रनिंग रूम से अलावा रानीगंज स्टेशन के प्रमुख पहलुओं जैसे यात्री सुविधाओं, शौचालय सुविधाओं और स्टेशन की सतहों का भी निरीक्षण किया गया। श्री सिंह ने यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए स्वच्छ और सुलभ शौचालय सुविधाओं को बनाए रखने के महत्व पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने सीसीटीवी कैमरों की स्थापना की भी समीक्षा की और इनके द्वारा यात्रियों और कर्मचारियों दोनों की सुरक्षा बढ़ाने में उनकी भूमिका पर जोर दिया। इसके अतिरिक्त, उन्होंने स्टेशन की सतहों की स्थिति का आकलन किया ताकि यह सुनिश्चित हो सके कि वे सुरक्षा मानकों का अनुपालन करते हैं और समग्र यात्रा अनुभव में सुधार करते हैं।
हाल ही में संपन्न स्वच्छता अभियान के हिस्से के रूप में, श्री सिंह ने सफाई, भोजन की गुणवत्ता और सुख- सुविधाओं की पर्याप्तता पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि वे निगाह में आयी किसी भी कमी को तुरंत दूर करें।

*DRM CONDUCTS INSPECTION OF CREW LOBBIES AND RUNNING ROOM OF RANIGANJ STATION*

Shri Chetna Nand Singh, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Asansol Division, Eastern Railway, conducted a thorough inspection of the Crew Lobby and Running Room at Raniganj station on October 09, 2024. This inspection aimed to assess the functioning of critical infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency within the division.
During the visit, Shri Singh evaluated the amenities provided in the Running Room, underscoring the need for a comfortable environment for crew members, which is vital for maintaining safety and punctuality in train operations. He engaged with crew members and staff on duty to gather feedback on their working conditions, highlighting the division’s commitment to employee welfare.
The inspection extended beyond the Crew Lobby and Running Room to include key aspects of Raniganj station, such as passenger amenities, toilet facilities, and station surfaces. Shri Singh stressed the importance of maintaining clean and accessible toilet facilities for passenger comfort. He also reviewed the installation of CCTV cameras, emphasizing their role in enhancing safety and security for both passengers and staff. Additionally, he assessed the condition of station surfaces to ensure they comply with safety standards and improve the overall travel experience.
As part of the recently concluded Swachhta Campaign, Shri Singh focused on cleanliness, food quality, and the adequacy of rest facilities. He directed officials to promptly address any identified deficiencies.
