Green Academy Chess Competitions
The Green Academy Organization held the Kalidas Datta and Deb Kumar Sarkar Memorial Chess Competitions at the #BNR Kharagpur ground in the city on Sunday. 242 players from various categories participated in these competitions.
The chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony held at night was the city police station officer Partha Pratim Pal and the organization’s president Pradeep Sarkar, A D Burman, A Paul Others were present. In these competitions, Sheikh Atiq Hussain was the overall champion in the boys’ category and Amritasmi Burman was the champion in the girls’ category and received mementos.
