आसनसोल, 28 अक्टूबर, 2024: दिवाली और छठ त्योहारों के दौरान हजारों यात्रियों के सुगम यात्रा अनुभव को सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए एक ठोस प्रयास में, अधिकारी, रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (आरपीएफ) और आसनसोल मंडल के कर्मचारी कई स्टेशनों पर निर्बाध, सुरक्षित और आरामदायक बोर्डिंग सुनिश्चित करने के लिए एकजुट हैं। यात्रियों द्वारा अपने गृहनगर की यात्रा करने से बेहतर भीड़ प्रबंधन, अतिरिक्त कर्मचारियों की उपस्थिति और स्पेशल ट्रेनों के प्रावधान संबंधी काफी लाभ हुआ है, ये सभी इस त्योहारी सीजन के दौरान यात्रियों की मांग में वृद्धि को पूरा करने के लिए व्यवस्थित किए गए हैं।

*ENSURING SAFE AND COMFORTABLE TRAVEL FOR PASSENGERS: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT BY ASANSOL DIVISION DURING DIWALI & CHHATH FESTIVE SEASON*

In a concerted effort to facilitate the smooth travel experience of thousands of passengers during the Diwali and Chhath festivals, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the staff of the Asansol Division have come together to ensure seamless, safe, and comfortable boarding across multiple stations. Passengers traveling to their hometowns have benefitted significantly from enhanced crowd management, additional staff presence, and the provision of special trains, all arranged to address the surge in demand during this festive season.
To manage the increased footfall effectively, RPF personnel and Commercial Department staff have been stationed strategically at key points across major stations in the division, providing essential support to passengers, especially the elderly, women, children, and differently-abled individuals. These initiatives have included guided boarding assistance, clear directional signage, and swift grievance redressal mechanisms to prevent overcrowding and ensure that passengers can board trains comfortably and without delay.
Understanding the cultural importance of the Diwali and Chhath festivals, Indian Railways has also introduced special trains and increased the frequency of regular services from Asansol and surrounding stations.
