Incident at Kangsabati Agriculture Adventure Park
An incident was reported at Kangsabati Agriculture Adventure Park, Khas Taluka, Barcola, on the afternoon of 16 August, involving Bhombal Pal, also known as Subir Pal. According to the information provided, he went there along with some villagers and allegedly claimed that illegal activities, including alcohol smuggling, were taking place inside the park. He also reportedly brought the matter to the attention of the media. Taking these claims seriously, the villagers went to the park and locked its gate, temporarily preventing access to the premises. The gate was later opened with the intervention and assistance of the police.
It was further alleged that Bhombal Pal had been involved in similar controversial incidents in the past, including an alleged firing incident, and that he had also allegedly taken bribes from several people. These claims should be verified by the concerned authorities before being treated as established facts.
After learning about the incident, Amar Patro, the owner of Kangsabati Agriculture Adventure Park, stated that the allegations regarding illegal activities and alcohol smuggling were completely false and that no such activities were taking place at the park. He further stated that he is bringing several development projects to the village, which will create employment opportunities and help provide jobs to unemployed local people. He said that false allegations are being made against him in an attempt to defame him. He further emphasized that if anyone has any genuine complaint or concern, there are proper legal channels and courts available to address such matters. No one has the legal right to unlawfully obstruct or stop another person’s legitimate business or activities.
