Blood Donation Programme was successfully organised at Mission Living School, Ward No. 4, Panchbaria. The Chief Guest was West Medinipur District Additional Superintendent of Police, Bushra Bano, and the programme was hosted by Kamal Ahmed.
The Guests of Honour included Asim Dhar, President of Medinipur District Voluntary Blood Donor Force, along with Samin Guha, Vijay Singh, A. D. Barman, Sanchita Jhana, Chondi Singh,Shalami Eric, Selender Singh, Janjit Kumar Sahu, Asif Khan, Anis Rehman,S.A.khan, Ghulam Asik and Sheikh Sunsat Raza.
Around 100 blood donors participated enthusiastically and donated blood to help those in need. Joseph Eric, Headmistress of Mission Living School, along with all the teachers, was present and supported the arrangements. Alok Eric, the person in charge, also played an important role in managing the programme.
Blood donation is a small step, but its contribution towards saving someone’s life can be enormous. With the collective efforts of the organisers, guests, teachers, volunteers and donors, the programme was conducted smoothly and successfully.
