Love Joy Peace and Satisfaction (NGO), a social service organization based in Jhapetapur, Kharagpur, has set a shining example of humanity by standing by the helpless and distressed people during the hot and rainy seasons. An umbrella distribution program was organized by the organization at 5 pm on Saturday at the premises of the Kharagpur City Union Church.
At the event, members of the organization handed over umbrellas to needy women and men of the area. The main goal of this initiative was to alleviate the hardships of daily travel and living in the adverse weather of the monsoon. The faces of the beneficiaries who received the umbrellas were filled with relief and smiles of joy.
All members of the Love Joy Peace and Satisfaction family were present at the program. They participated spontaneously, distributed gifts with their own hands, and pledged to continue to support the helpless people of the society in the future.
The organization said, “Service to humanity is our ultimate religion. Our main goal is to stand by people in times of need. In the coming days, we will continue to work for human welfare through various programs in education, health, and social welfare.”
Local residents highly appreciated this initiative of the organization.
