पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल के मंडल रेल प्रबंधक (डीआरएम) श्री चेतना नंद सिंह ने आज बाराचक-सीतारामपुर सेक्शन का व्यापक निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण का उद्देश्य क्षेत्र में परिचालनिक दक्षता और संरक्षा के उच्चतम मानकों को सुनिश्चित करना है।
अपने निरीक्षण के दौरान, श्री सिंह ने सीतामपुर पूर्व आउटर केबिन पर इन्क्लाइन (ढलान) पर ट्रेन की गति और संरक्षा से संबंधित प्रमुख चिंताओं का समाधान करते हुए वहाँ स्टालिंग की स्थिति का निरीक्षण किया। उनके आकलन में मौजूदा उपायों का मूल्यांकन करना और भविष्य में स्टालिंग की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए सुधार के क्षेत्रों की पहचान करना शामिल था।
अपने जमीनी मूल्यांकन को और बढ़ाते हुए श्री सिंह ने बाराचक स्टेशन से लेकर सीतारामपुर स्टेशन तक ट्रॉली निरीक्षण किया। इस व्यावहारिक दृष्टिकोण से ट्रैक की स्थिति, सिगनलिंग सिस्टम और समग्र बुनियादी ढांचे की गहन समीक्षा करने में सफलता मिली।
इसके अलावा, मंडल रेल प्रबंधक ने संरक्षा और समग्र परिचालनिक पहलुओं पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए बाराचक स्टेशन का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने निरंतर सुधार की आवश्यकता पर बल देते हुए संबंधित अधिकारियों से स्टेशन के रीमॉडलिंग के लिए प्रस्ताव मांगे।
सीतारामपुर स्टेशन पर, श्री सिंह ने पूरी तरह से भू-सतही क्रॉसिंग से बचने के लिए दरवाजा बंद करने की प्रक्रियाओं के कार्यान्वयन पर चर्चा की, जिसका मुख्य उद्देश्य यात्री सुरक्षा और परिचालनिक दक्षता को बढ़ाना है।
मंडल रेल प्रबंधक ने रेलवे परिचालन के सुचारू संचालन को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए नियमित निरीक्षण और सक्रिय अनुरक्षण के महत्त्व पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कर्मचारियों से भी बातचीत की और उन्हें सतर्कता बनाए रखने और संरक्षा प्रोटोकॉल का पालन करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।
यह निरीक्षण उच्च परिचालन मानकों को बनाए रखने और यात्रियों की सुरक्षा और संतुष्टि सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल की प्रतिबद्धता को रेखांकित करता है।

*DRM ASANSOL INSPECTED BARACHAK-SITARAMPUR SECTION FOR OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE*

Shri Chetna Nand Singh, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Asansol Division, Eastern Railway, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Barachak – Sitarampur section today. The inspection aimed at ensuring the highest standards of operational efficiency and safety in the region.
During the visit, Shri Singh inspected the stalling situation at the Sitarampur East outer cabin, addressing key concerns related to train momentum and safety on inclines. His assessment included evaluating the current measures in place and identifying areas for improvement to prevent future stalling incidents.
Further enhancing his on-ground evaluation, Shri Singh conducted a trolley inspection from Barachak Station to Sitarampur Station. This hands-on approach allowed for a thorough review of the track conditions, signaling systems, and overall infrastructure.
In addition, the DRM inspected Barachak Station, focusing on safety and overall operational aspects. He requested proposals for the remodelling of the station from the concerned officers, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement.
At Sitarampur Station, Shri Singh discussed the implementation of door closing procedures to avoid total surface crossing, a measure aimed at enhancing passenger safety and operational efficiency.
The DRM emphasized the importance of regular inspections and proactive maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of railway operations. He also interacted with the staff, encouraging them to maintain vigilance and adhere to safety protocols.
This inspection underscores the commitment of the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway’s to maintaining high operational standards and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of passengers.
