Tamralipta Samman 2026 Held in Tamluk
The NHK Welfare Foundation successfully organised Tamralipta Samman 2026 on 11 September 2026 at Tamluk, Purba Medinipur, as part of its 24th Foundation Day celebrations. The prestigious ceremony honoured individuals and organisations for their outstanding contributions to Education, Environment, Social Service, Health & Wellness, Sports & Games, and Art & Culture. The Lifetime Achievement Award was conferred upon Janab M. Nurul Islam, Founder and General Secretary of Al-Ameen Mission, in recognition of his remarkable contribution to education and social empowerment. The programme was graced by eminent poet and Sahitya Akademi Awardee Shri Joy Goswami as the Chief Guest and Shri Barun Mondal, WBCS, as the Guest of Honour.
The event also saw participation from four representatives from Kharagpur โ Viru Singh (Media), S.A. Khan (Media), Janjeet Kumar Sahoo (Social Media), and Anish Rehman (Social Worker). Their presence added a special representation from Kharagpur to the prestigious occasion, which concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
