Blood Donation Camp Organised by Kharagpur Truck Owners Association
A blood donation camp was organised by the Kharagpur Truck Owners Association as part of its ongoing commitment to social service.
The association has been organising this blood donation initiative for the past 13 years. A medical team from Nayagram Blood Centre, Jhargram was present at the camp, including Dr. B. Murmu, Kuntal Karmakar, Rajesh Jana, Sikha Bhumia and Bijoy Lakh Dutta.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Smt. Pratibha Haldar, IC, Women Police Station, Kharagpur. The Guests of Honour included D. Basanti, Councillor, Ward No. 21; Abhishek Kumar Agarwal, Councillor, Ward No. 16; A. D. Barman, DCCI, Paschim Medinipur; Jagabandhu Singha, PPMJ 2 KSB Samity; Lasi Malima Singha, HWI; Jaya Das Singha, Secretary, Kharagpur Atmaja Foundation; D. Madhusudan Rao, HUM Party Town President; Badal Das, BJP Neta; Charanjit Singh, BJP; Debasish Chaudhary; Munmun, Social Worker; Samar Chakraborty, Editor; Javed Ahmed Khan, Potato and Onion Secretary; and Anis Rehman, Social Worker.
The Kharagpur Truck Owners Association is led by President Jyotirmoy Banerjee, Secretary Ujjwal Kumar Das and Cashier Abdul Sattar. Association members Amar Kumar, Syed Bahamatullah, Ranjit Kartik, Lalan Yadav, Ram Chand Gupta, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, S. K. Sahajada and Jagannath Methi also actively supported the programme.
The programme was anchored by Munmun Shukla and hosted by S. A. Khan.
