*आसनसोल मंडल में मानसून से पहले स्टेशनों और कॉलोनियों में व्यापक रूप से नालियों की सफ़ाई का अभियान शुरू किया गया*

आसनसोल, 08 जून 2026:
आसनसोल मंडल ने मानसून से पहले की तैयारियों के तहत अपने अधिकार क्षेत्र में पड़ने वाले रेलवे स्टेशनों और कॉलोनियों में 08 जून से 10 जून, 2026 तक नालियों की सफ़ाई का एक ज़ोरदार अभियान शुरू किया है। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य जल निकासी की उचित व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करना, सफ़ाई और स्वच्छता बनाए रखना और मलेरिया व डेंगू जैसी बीमारियों (जो मच्छरों/कीड़ों से फैलती हैं) के जोखिम को कम करना है।
यह अभियान आसनसोल, अंडाल, रानीगंज, मधुपुर, जसीडीह, दुर्गापुर, उखरा, दुमका और सीतारामपुर सहित कई स्टेशनों और रेलवे कॉलोनियों में चलाया जा रहा है। इस अभियान के तहत नालियों में जमी गंदगी, कचरा और जमा हुआ पानी हटाना शामिल है, ताकि गंदे पानी का निकासी सुचारू रूप से किया जा सके और आने वाले मानसून के मौसम में जलजमाव की समस्या न हो।
इस अभियान में संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारीगण और कर्मचारीगण सक्रिय रूप से भाग ले रहे हैं और सफ़ाई कार्यों की प्रगति पर नजर रख रहे हैं। स्टेशन परिसर, सर्कुलेटिंग एरिया, सर्विस बिल्डिंग और रेलवे कॉलोनियों में स्वच्छता और जल निकासी प्रबंधन पर विशेष जोर दिया जा रहा है।
इस अभियान के तहत नालियों की सफ़ाई करने का उद्देश्य मानसून से पहले मंडल में किए जाने वाले नियमित स्वच्छता उपायों का ही एक हिस्सा है। इन गतिविधियों का उद्देश्य रेलवे परिसर में साफ़-सफ़ाई बनाए रखना और जल निकासी की स्थिति में सुधार करना है।

*ASANSOL DIVISION UNDERTAKES PRE-MONSOON INTENSIVE DRAIN CLEANING DRIVE ACROSS STATIONS AND COLONIES*
*Three-Day Campaign Focuses on Improved Drainage, Cleanliness and Prevention of Vector-Borne Diseases*
Asansol, 08 June 2026:
Asansol Division has launched a three-day intensive drain cleaning drive from 08 June to 10 June 2026 across railway stations and colonies under its jurisdiction as part of pre-monsoon preparedness measures. The campaign is aimed at ensuring proper drainage, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and reducing the risk of vector-borne diseases such as malaria and dengue.
The drive is being carried out at several stations and railway colonies, including Asansol, Andal, Raniganj, Madhupur, Jasidih, Durgapur, Ukhra, Dumka and Sitarampur. The work involves removal of silt, garbage and stagnant water from drainage channels to facilitate smooth flow of wastewater and prevent waterlogging during the ensuing monsoon season.
Officials and staff of the concerned departments are actively participating in the campaign and are monitoring the progress of cleaning activities. Special emphasis is being laid on sanitation and drainage management in station premises, circulating areas, service buildings and railway colonies.
The drain cleaning drive forms part of the regular sanitation measures undertaken across the division during the pre-monsoon period. The activities are intended to maintain clean surroundings and improve drainage conditions in railway premises.
