यात्री सुविधा और पहुंच को बढ़ाने की दिशा में एक और कदम उठाते हुए पूर्व रेलवे के आसनसोल मंडल ने रानीगंज स्टेशन के प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर 01 और 02 पर 13 व्यक्तियों की क्षमता वाली एक नई लिफ्ट लगाई है। यह अतिरिक्त लिफ्ट हाल ही में प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर 04 पर समान क्षमता वाली एक लिफ्ट की इंस्टालेशन के बाद लगाई गई है, जिससे स्टेशन परिसर के भीतर गतिशीलता में और सुधार होगा।
निर्बाध और परेशानी मुक्त पहुंच प्रदान करने के लिए डिज़ाइन की गई ये लिफ्टें दिव्यांग व्यक्तियों, वरिष्ठ नागरिकों और भारी सामान वाले यात्रियों की आवाजाही को काफी आसान बना देंगी। दोनों लिफ्टों में एक स्वचालित बचाव उपकरण (ARD) भी लगा हुआ है, जो बिजली की विफलता की स्थिति में लिफ्ट को स्वचालित रूप से निकटतम मंजिल पर ले जाकर यात्रियों की संरक्षा सुनिश्चित करता है।
यह पहल स्टेशन के बुनियादी ढांचे को आधुनिक बनाने और यात्री सुविधाओं को बढ़ाने के लिए पूर्व रेलवे के चल रहे प्रयासों का हिस्सा है। सुगमता को प्राथमिकता देते हुए आसनसोल मंडल का लक्ष्य अधिक समावेशी और यात्री-अनुकूल यात्रा वातावरण बनाना है, जिससे यह सुनिश्चित हो सके कि प्रत्येक यात्री आसानी और सम्मान के साथ स्टेशन पर घूम सके।

*ANOTHER GIFT FOR PASSENGER CONVENIENCE: NEW LIFTS INSTALLED AT RANIGANJ STATION*
Asansol, March 01, 2025:
In yet another step towards enhancing passenger convenience and accessibility, the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway has installed a new lift with a capacity of 13 persons at Raniganj Station, Platform No. 1 & 2. This addition follows the recent installation of a lift of the same capacity at Platform No. 4, further improving mobility within the station premises.
Designed to provide seamless and hassle-free access, these lifts will significantly ease the movement of differently-abled individuals, senior citizens, and passengers with heavy luggage. Both lifts are also equipped with an Automatic Rescue Device (ARD), ensuring passenger safety by automatically moving the lift to the nearest floor in case of a power failure.
This initiative is part of Eastern Railway’s ongoing efforts to modernize station infrastructure and enhance passenger amenities. By prioritizing accessibility, the Asansol Division aims to create a more inclusive and passenger-friendly travel environment, ensuring that every commuter can navigate the station with ease and dignity.
Passengers are being welcomed at these new facilities which are going to positively impact their travel experience. Both lifts are now fully operational and ready to serve the needs of travelers at Raniganj Station.
