On 20th September, 2025, a Mega Blood Donation Camp was organized at Central Railway Hospital, Kharagpur under the mission “स्वस्थ नारी – सशक्त परिवार”. The camp was conducted by the Medical Department under the supervision of CMS/SER/Kharagpur.
The camp was inaugurated by DRM/Kharagpur, who appreciated the noble initiative and encouraged active participation. On this occasion, 22 RPF officers and staff of Kharagpur Local came forward to donate blood, thereby contributing towards saving precious lives. Additionally, 28 lady officers and staff underwent health check-ups during the camp.
In recognition of their humanitarian service, commendation certificates were presented by DRM/Kharagpur to the RPF personnel who participated in the blood donation drive.
The programme successfully highlighted the values of service, compassion and social responsibility among railway personnel, while also spreading awareness about the importance of blood donation and women’s health.
