ऑपरेशन सतर्क रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (आरपीएफ) द्वारा एक सक्रिय पहल है जिसका उद्देश्य भारतीय रेलवे नेटवर्क में संरक्षा और सतर्कता बढ़ाना है। चोरी, तस्करी और अनधिकृत यात्रा जैसी आपराधिक गतिविधियों पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए शुरू किया गया यह ऑपरेशन गहन गश्त, औचक निरीक्षण और रेलवे परिसरों पर समन्वित छापेमारी पर केंद्रित है। उन्नत तकनीक और खुफिया जानकारी जुटाकर, ऑपरेशन सतर्क यात्रियों की संरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और रेलवे संपत्ति की रक्षा करने का प्रयास करता है।
छापे के परिणामस्वरूप व्हिस्की के विभिन्न ब्रांडों की 90 बोतलें जब्त की गईं, जिनकी कुल कीमत 39,210 रुपये थी। संदिग्धों ने खुलासा किया कि वे निजी लाभ के लिए शराब को बिहार ले जाने के लिए आसनसोल से ट्रेन में सवार हुए थे।
गिरफ्तार व्यक्तियों और जब्त शराब को आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए जामताड़ा में आबकारी विभाग को सौंप दिया गया। यह ऑपरेशन रेलवे पर संरक्षा और अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए रंलवं सुरक्षा बल की प्रतिबद्धता को रेखांकित करता है।

*OPERATION SATARK : SUCCESSFUL RPF RAID SEIZES ILLEGAL LIQUOR IN ASANSOL DIVISION*
Asansol, July 24, 2024:
Operation Satark is a proactive initiative by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) aimed at enhancing security and vigilance across the Indian Railways network. Launched to curb criminal activities such as theft, smuggling, and unauthorized travel, the operation focuses on intensive patrolling, surprise checks, and coordinated raids on trains and railway premises. By leveraging advanced technology and intelligence gathering, Operation Satark seeks to ensure passenger safety and protect railway property.
On July 22, a dedicated team from RPF/CIB/Asansol, led by SI Rajeshwar Mandal, ASI Nantu Chakraborty, and CT Dinker Tiwari, conducted a successful raid against undesirable activities on Train No. 12369 (Kumbh Exp). The team observed two individuals, Sanjeev Kumar and Krishna Kumar, suspiciously placing backpacks and trolley bags under the berths of Coach B-3. Upon inspection, the bags were found to contain a significant quantity of foreign liquor bottles.
The raid resulted in the seizure of 90 bottles of various brands of whisky, with a total value of Rs. 39,210. The suspects revealed that they had boarded the train from Asansol to transport the liquor to Bihar for personal gain.
The arrested individuals and the seized liquor were handed over to the Excise department in Jamtara for further legal action. This operation underscores the RPF’s commitment to ensuring safety and compliance on the railways.
