An Appeal to the Administration for Urgent Road Repairs Before Durga Puja
As Durga Puja is approaching in Kharagpur, we would like to draw the attention of the concerned administration towards the poor condition of roads in several areas, particularly near the Municipality area in, Kharagpur. Numerous potholes and damaged road surfaces are causing difficulties for both pedestrians and vehicle users. During the Puja festivities, a large number of people will come out with their families to visit pandals and celebrate the festival. In such circumstances, travelling on roads filled with potholes can become extremely difficult and dangerous. There is also a serious risk of accidents, particularly for two-wheeler riders, elderly people, children and pedestrians.
Durga Puja is a time of joy and celebration, and people should be able to move around safely without worrying about damaged roads. Therefore, we sincerely appeal to the concerned administration and relevant authorities to take immediate action and ensure that the damaged roads near the Municipality area in, along with other affected roads in Kharagpur, are repaired as soon as possible before the Puja festivities begin. Timely action will help prevent accidents, reduce inconvenience and ensure the safety and convenience of the public.
We hope the administration will treat this matter as a priority and take the necessary steps in the interest of the people of Kharagpur.
