Beneath New Skies: A New Chapter Begins!

Fresh pages waiting to be inscribed and margins eager to gather new annotations captured the spirit of the day as the students of St. Agnes School joyfully welcomed Rev. Sr. Matilda D’Souza, A.C., Principal; Rev. Sr. M. Hazel, A.C., Vice Principal; and Rev. Sr. Christina, A.C. into the Agnesian family. Presented by the students of Class XI under the guidance of their teachers, the occasion added another cherished lesson to the school’s ever growing textbook of memories, where familiar chapters received fresh illuminations and well thumbed pages embraced new names.
The programme commenced with an introduction that served as the title page of the gathering. The lighting of the lamp followed, casting a luminous bookmark upon the day and preparing blank spaces for a chapter rich in promise. With the formal introduction of the three Sisters, new entries found their place in the living manuscript of St. Agnes School. A prayer service gathered the hopes and aspirations of the assembly and inscribed them like words of blessing in the margins of pages destined to be revisited with affection.
In her welcome address, Sr. Debia, A.C. gave voice to the sentiments of the entire Agnesian family, while tokens of affection rested like treasured keepsakes pressed between the leaves of a beloved text. A melodious welcome song offered by the students and a spirited dance presentation by the gentlemen of the St. Agnes family brushed the pages with colour and movement, lending vibrant expression to the joy that animated the gathering. The inspiring words of our Principal and Vice Principal became thoughtful annotations upon young minds, illuminating passages of hope and purpose for the journey ahead.
The celebrations continued as the teachers of St. Agnes School scripted their own pages of affection and fellowship in honour of the three Sisters. Their thoughtfully curated programme, adorned with words of welcome, harmonious melodies, and heartfelt gestures, became like elegant marginalia enriching an already cherished chapter. Every note, every smile, and every expression of camaraderie found its place like finely penned annotations upon the living textbook of the Agnesian family, bearing witness to the bonds that unite hearts in a common mission.
As the final pages of the day drew near, applause became punctuation marks and smiling faces became signatures upon a memorable chapter. Bound by a shared calling and inspired by the spirit of Apostolic Carmel, the Agnesian family cherished this blessed confluence of hearts and aspirations. With profound joy and reverence, St. Agnes School extends a heartfelt welcome to our dear Sisters, looking ahead to volumes yet to be compiled, lessons yet to be explored, and countless pages waiting to be enriched beneath new skies.
